Serve as a tenured Product Manager and thought leader to support and execute the Business Blueprint roadmap, specifically focused on the Business Blueprint Small Business Homepage experience and Small Business Navigation. Blueprint supports American Express Small Business customers and is the hub for Line of Credit, Business Checking, Payment Accept, small business cards, and cash flow. The ideal candidate will have proven ability leading project delivery end-to-end, collaborating with engineers, providing thoughtful design feedback, managing stakeholder partner teams, influencing leadership and business partners, building metrics to measure success, and using those metrics to make decisions about the roadmap. The individual will also be able to manage multiple concurrent priorities, prepare presentations for and present at a senior executive team level, partner across the enterprise to understand the evolution of business products, and support roadmap vision development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the business strategy for the Business Blueprint Small Business Homepage and Navigation rooted in data and customer research.
  • Identify and bring in new opportunities to improve experiences based on external benchmarking and knowledge of digital trends and customer preferences.
  • Plan and deliver a product backlog, prioritize stories, and ship high-quality, functional software with the help of a cross-functional agile team.
  • Collaborate with external and internal partners to define functionality. Document epics, business rules, use cases, and process flows.
  • Lead projects independently from end-to-end. Build consensus while also identifying risks and removing roadblocks.
  • Understand and influence decisions across both our web and native iOS & Android app experiences.
  • Own the Blueprint Homepage project delivery and strategy E2E. Work with product management leadership and departmental partners to define aspirational objectives and measurable key results.
  • Prepare presentations for and present to senior leadership audiences regularly.
  • Influence partners around optimized navigation focused on Small Business customer needs and business goals.
  • Partner on discovery with business subject matter experts and UX designers to grow revenue, improve customer experience, and differentiate our product.
  • Optimize both customer experience and performance in market; define and monitor adoption, engagement, and satisfaction metrics.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience as a business analyst, product owner and/or product manager role.
  • Awareness of trends in experience & design for fintech and banking products.
  • Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly products and customer-facing features.
  • A good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with experience working with engineers and designers on large, complex production systems in an agile environment.
  • Sound business judgment with confirmed ability to influence others, and a consistent track record of taking ownership and driving results.
  • Effectively prioritize features with proven data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Adaptability with quickly changing priorities and conditions.
  • Strong relationship & communication skills to influence decision making and communicate at multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience preparing and presenting to senior leadership audiences.
  • Personal accountability and the drive to strive for best-in-class experiences.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
