POSITION DETAILS

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manages a growing team of Sourcing Specialists and one Estimator
• Leads Sourcing process from RFQ to LTA execution
• Overall responsibilities of Supplier Management process that includes but not limited to: Supplier Assessment and selection, Supplier Performance Management and Supplier Risk management
• Implement and manage processes and systems for tracking and reporting material consumption
• Drive Supplier Rationalization through resourcing and through risk mitigation process
• Manage the analytics to drive the Sourcing function to support cost reduction activities including cost, quality, lead time, and delivery performance while ensuring supplier capabilities aligns with the part families supplied
• Key role in ERP process improvement
• Develop strategies for supply including VMI, Blanket PO, LTAs, etc.
• Manage and support New Product Development from a Supplier selection and Sourcing perspective
• Lead technical calls with vendors
• Responsible for the maintenance of standard costs
• Responsible for cost estimate matrices for new programs; employing algorithms based on processes, headcount, material type, etc.
• Drive process improvement to the Supplier Management process and ensure the process are in accordance with the AS9100 standards
• Support Purchasing and Engineering for Engineering Changes to a Purchased part
• Assure the continued development and growth of assigned personnel through strong leadership

Key Performance Indicators Responsible:

• Supplier Quality - Defective Parts per Million (DPPM)
• Sourcing Cost savings
• % of cost with LTA
• Supplier On-Time Delivery

Job Requirements:

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• > 3 years' experience of technical procurement, manufacturing engineering or design engineering
• Must have 5 Years of Experience in Supplier Performance Management process
• Strong Project Management experience to effectively manage large complex projects
• Comfortable using current technologies and business applications (e.g. excel, SQL, PowerBI, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills for determining trends/root causes and for report generations
• Strong interpersonal skills. Able to communicate up and down the organization
• Aerospace background preferred
• Experience with machined, cast and outside processing of parts

Education

• Bachelor's degree, APICS certification, or Project Management certification preferred

PAY RANGE: $129K- $161K. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
