Position Summary

The Senior Sales Development Representative role at Empower Pharmacy is instrumental in driving the growth and success of our sales initiatives. This position is crucial in ensuring that our products and services reach healthcare providers effectively, aligning with our values of people, service, quality, and innovation. As a Senior Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for qualifying new accounts through outbound prospecting, conducting discovery conversations to uncover the full potential of sales opportunities. You will play a key role in managing the inbound and outbound sales queues, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries, and distributing leads effectively. Your expertise in data analysis will support the Sales Development Supervisor and Manager in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring queue statistics, ensuring that our sales operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Additionally, you will take on a leadership role in training new team members and contributing to sales automation projects, representing the Business Development Team in these initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Professionalism and Integrity: Speaks with customers professionally that establishes a strong and supportive foundation of trust and business rapport with Empower Pharmacy.
  • Handling Sales Objections: Demonstrates the ability to effectively handle and address sales objections.
  • Qualifying New Accounts: Fully qualifies new accounts from outbound prospecting, calls, and cases, executing discovery conversations to identify all services and the full potential of a sales opportunity.
  • Queue Management: Assists the Sales Development Supervisor and Manager with monitoring the inbound and outbound queue and ensuring customer calls are answered in a timely manner. Distributes inbound leads and cases from both the inbound lead and case queues.
  • Data Support: Supports the Sales Development Supervisor/Manager with critical inbound and outbound data related to both Reps' and KPIs and outbound phone queue stats.
  • Training and Testing: Acts as a key contributor to training new Sales and Business Development Team members and serves as a key tester and influencer for Sales Automation projects, representing the Business Development Team.
  • Call Planning and Time Management: Develops a weekly call plan and effective time management tactics, addressing all inbound calls, executing outbound calls to leads and cases, and maintaining the Sales Development cadence structure.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identifies all opportunities from SALs and schedules meetings for inside and field clinical liaisons.
  • Cadence Execution: Ensures that all cadence touchpoints (calls, emails, texts) are executed on time and in accordance with the Business Development cadence structure for each lead.
  • Lead Status Updates: Updates all lead statuses in accordance with the cadence structure, triggering marketing and nurturing campaigns.
  • Sales Processes: Follows all sales processes to ensure effective sales operations and communicates facts without making invalidated claims.
  • Training and Meetings Participation: Participates in all SDR sales training and meetings focused on product knowledge, development opportunities, team metrics, and sales/process changes.
  • KPI Achievement: Meets and exceeds all KPIs related to calls, scheduled meetings, and response times to leads, consistently surpassing sales objections and financial goals.
  • Develops and implements sales development strategies to generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborates closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to promote consistency across departments and ensure sales development efforts align with overall business objectives.
  • Provides supportive coaching to a team of Business Development Representatives to achieve and exceed their individual and team KPIs.
  • Supports content optimization for qualified.com, Revenue i.e., sequences, campaign content for guided selling, sequences, and coordinate with marketing for approval of sales messaging.
  • Collects and summarizes data for the Sales Development Supervisor/ Manager to include in the ELT Month End Report, effectively communicating the "story" of Sales Development each month. This includes providing enriched data, identifying key drivers, addressing obstacles and challenges, and highlighting market trends.
  • Monitoring RingDNA Data: Tracks performance metrics and call analytics to ensure adherence to quality standards and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Leading Meetings: Assists in leading team meetings, providing updates, setting agendas, and ensuring that team goals and objectives are communicated effectively.
  • Time Approval and ADP Management: Assists in approving and checking employee time in ADP to ensure accurate payroll and compliance with work hours.
  • Coaching and Training: Provides ongoing coaching and training to team members to support their professional development, enhance their skills, and improve overall team performance.
  • Process Enhancement: Collaborates with the Sales Development Supervisor to collect data, suggest process improvements, and implement best practices.
  • Automation Testing: Participants a key tester for new automation implementations to ensure smooth integration and functionality.
  • New Hire Training for Sales Development: Assists in training new recruits for Sales Development Team, helping them to understand their roles, systems, and processes.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly reviews individual and team performance metrics, providing feedback, and ensuring adherence to performance goals.
  • Lead Addition: Adds new leads to the system and manages the lead pipeline to ensure accurate tracking and follow-up.
  • Event Management: Oversees event management, including scheduling, coordinating, and ensuring successful execution of events related to lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Auditing: Conducts regular audits to ensure compliance with processes and accuracy in data management and lead tracking.
  • Qualified Chats: Manages and responds to qualified chats effectively, maintaining ambitious standards of customer interaction and lead qualification.
  • Performs other duties assigned.
