Sexy Fish - Miami are currently seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Sous Chef to join our esteemed kitchen team. As a Senior Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, maintaining culinary standards, and contributing to menu development. If you have a passion for culinary arts, proven leadership skills, and are committed to maintaining high standards in the kitchen, we invite you to take on a senior leadership role at our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

•          Collaborate with the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation.

•         Oversee and actively participate in the cooking and presentation of dishes.

•         Ensure the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.

•         Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.

•         Lead the culinary team in the absence of the Head Chef.

•         Contribute to menu development and innovation.

•         Manage inventory, ordering, and quality control of kitchen supplies.

•         Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements:

•         Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or in a similar role in a high-end restaurant or luxury establishment.

•         Culinary degree or equivalent culinary training.

•         Strong leadership and organizational skills.

•         Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

•         Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Physical Abilities

•         Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

•         Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces.

•         Ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.

•         Ability to remain in stationary position for 8 hours or more.

•         Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
