Job Description

As a Sr. Systems Administrator with Invited, you will join our growing SFDC team. In this role, you'll partner closely with the Manager, IT Sales & Marketing to translate business needs into effective Salesforce configurations, maximizing the value of our GTM tools and minimizing technical debt.

Responsibilities: Partnering with the Product team to gather and refine requirements for Salesforce configurations
  • Designing and implementing technical solutions leveraging Salesforce out-of-box capabilities, minimizing customizations
  • Managing integrations with GTM applications, including OWN Backup, Gong, Gainsight, Pardot, and other leading GTM solutions
  • Maintaining and optimizing Salesforce configurations for Sales Cloud, ensuring alignment with GTM motions and best practices
  • Developing and delivering training materials for users on Salesforce functionality and best practices, as needed
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to improve Salesforce data quality and user adoption
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest Salesforce features and functionality, recommending and implementing enhancements, with emphasis on SFDC Sales Cloud
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales Ops, and Marketing, to ensure Salesforce supports overall business goals
  • Having a product owner mentality with focus on usability and design
  • Being able to work cross functionally across Product & Technology, GTM, and Operations to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders and lead major change efforts requiring cross functional leadership collaboration and conflict resolution
  • Translating business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and AppExchange products
  • Performing system testing and quality assurance to ensure smooth deployments
  • Defining mechanisms for prioritizing backlog capabilities with stakeholders, and resolving technical conflicts and dependencies
  • Providing detailed level of effort estimates and/or t-shirt sizing for proposed solutions
  • Articulating the benefits and risks to a solution's feasibility and functionality
  • Overseeing data quality standards to ensure consistency and reliability across all platforms
  • Ensuring proper documentation (i.e. architecture diagrams) of process flows between systems is maintained and implement/maintain connections between Salesforce and other business systems
  • Being able to see the big picture while also being hands-on and in the details
  • Continuously enhancing your knowledge and skills through training, certifications, and participation in Salesforce user groups and event

Qualification
  • 5+ years as a SFDC Administrator in a fast-paced growing org (500+ users) leveraging SFDC Sales Cloud
  • Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Salesforce Administrator
  • Strong knowledge in Sales Cloud and Account Engagement
  • Experience as a Business or Functional Analyst
  • Experience with GTM platforms such as Account Engagement, and DocuSign
  • Experience in working across a geographically disbursed/remote organization
  • Experience with large scale transformation/modernization programs
  • Strong oral and written communications with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Strong mentoring skills as a senior technical leader for less experienced team members
  • Collaborative working style to be able to partner with technology and business stakeholders across the organization and collaborate on technology decisions
  • Ability to understand and support internal and external team members on the delivery and execution of complex projects

Preferred Qualifications
  • Highly competent with Salesforce automation tools such as flow builder, approval processes, and workflow rules
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including MS Office Suite, Visio, SharePoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with IT service management tools (ex: ServiceNow)
  • Nice to have: Gainsight Development certification, and Account Engagement certification
