Role Description:

A Project Manager must have experience managing Information Technology related projects. Must be well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies. Must have experience in PMP, tracking costs, schedule and performance progress. Must be able to identify and mitigate risks. The Project Manager will work closely with the Program Manager and be the primary contact for the VA SMO and key client stakeholders. The Project Manager will facilitate the relationship between the client and the capability leads as well as collaboration and coordination with other VA Subcontractors. The Project Manager will be deeply involved in status, demand and pipeline management, and risk mitigation. Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline. Candidate should have PMP certification, 10 years of experience in field. However, 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
