As a Site Infrastructure Engineer I, your primary focus will be supporting senior engineers on ongoing projects. Youll collaborate closely with the resort telecom and site infrastructure teams. Your responsibilities include working with circuits, routers, switches, and maintenance contracts. Hands-on experience with structured cabling is essential. Most communication within the team occurs over the phone or through remote fixes, so a strong phone presence is required.
Day-to-Day Tasks:
1. Project Support:
- Assist senior engineers with ongoing infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate on design, implementation, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Ensure project milestones are met.
2. Infrastructure Maintenance:
- Regularly inspect and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, etc.).
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and resolve them promptly.
- Coordinate with vendors for maintenance contracts.
3. Structured Cabling:
- Handle structured cabling installations, repairs, and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate documentation of cabling layouts.
4. Remote Support:
- Provide remote assistance to resolve technical issues.
- Troubleshoot network problems remotely.
- Communicate effectively with team members via phone and virtual channels.
5. Emergency Response:
- Be available for urgent infrastructure-related incidents.
- Respond promptly to critical outages or failures.
6. Collaboration:
- Work closely with the resort telecom team to ensure seamless communication services.
- Coordinate infrastructure changes with other departments

Required Skills & Experience
- 1-2 years of hands-on structured cabling and circuit provisions
- 1-2 years of junior Project Management experience
- Strong communication and phone presence
- Holistic understanding of networks and how they work together
- Cross-functional team experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Ticket system experience- currently using ServiceNow but open to all
- Electrician apprenticeship
- Network background within construction industry
- Experience creating network diagrams with Microsoft Visio
