Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Sr. Site Reliability Engineer with 10+ years plus experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, USA

Responsibilities:
• A Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for monitoring, automating, and improving the reliability, performance, and availability of TechOps supply chain application.
• Work on tasks such as preventing incidents with setting up alerts for symptoms.
• Coordinating with multiple teams such as Azure cloud platform, enterprise monitoring tools, enterprise DevOps and IT security teams.
• Building effective monitoring systems with proactive and reactive alerts.
• Build system health dashboards.
• Build end user monitoring dashboards.
• Work with Delivery teams to provide insights into monitoring data.
• Manage deployments and incidents.
• Integrate alerts with notifications engine.

Requirements & Skills:
• At least 10+ years hands on experience as SRE (Site Reliability Engineer)
• Experience with Azure cloud.
• Experience with APM tools Dynatrace SaaS, Mezmo (LogDNA) and Azure native tools.
• Experience building automation scripts for CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Github enterprise, Git Actions
• Nice to Have: Worked as SRE in an environment such as Azure cloud, Angular, GraphQL, Mongo DB, Event hub and Moogsoft (AIOPS)
