Leidos has a need for a software developer to support a high-profile IC customer mission. This is a unique opportunity to bring your software development skills to bear on challenging work for our IC customer. Our IC customer mission continues to grow and your skills and expertise will help us enhance the tools and services we use to support their mission. We seek individuals who can think "out of the box" and who have a passion for exotic uses of technology.

Primary responsibilities
  • Developing middleware for cross-product integration to improve administrator or end-user experience with applications and services.
  • Enhancing O&M processes through automation (e.g., automated deployments, managing/monitoring, etc.).
  • Automate cloud service deployments using Terraform, Ansible, and related tools to deploy new instances and reconfigure existing instances.
  • Developing tools for system administration tasks and other repetitive processes.
  • Develop PKI management tools.
  • Leveraging commercial product API's to accomplish the above.

Basic Qualifications
  • Must have a TS/SCI with Poly to be considered
  • Ideal candidate will have Bachelor and minimum 12 yrs experience OR Masters and minimum 10 yrs experience OR 16 yr work experience in lieu of degree
  • Language experience: Python, PowerShell, C++, Java, and PHP
  • Experience with automation techniques and scripting
  • Ability to design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement code
  • Demonstrated experiencing translating customer requirements into end user products
  • Demonstrated experience integrating COTS products
  • Proven ability to build, integrate, and test prototypes and final implementations and deploy these systems into production
  • Formally document designs and code in the program baseline
  • Provide operational support of the tool suites as needed
  • Act as the senior subject matter expert for interactions and support with client, teammates, and vendors
  • Strong collaboration and customer service skills
  • Ability to develop and present briefings to customers and convey technical messages to non-IT individuals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently as well as in team environments
  • Travel: May require occasional travel throughout the continental U.S.

Pay Range: Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
