Cognizant is look for a Software Quality Analyst I (Onsite) to join our dynamic team. The role will require a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring software quality through Blackbox testing.

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of professional work experience as a Blackbox Software Quality Analyst or related
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in test planning, test design, test authoring, and execution
  • Analyze test results and identify defects, patterns of issues, troubleshoot scenarios and compile detailed reports
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills in English

Responsibilities:
  • Perform test planning, test case development, and test execution (manual)
  • Testing on client platforms and hardware
  • Analyzing test failures and filing detailed defect reports
  • Escalate and report key quality issues and drive issues to resolution
  • Provide updates and submit reports related to own area of work

The hourly rate for this position is between $35.50 - $36.00, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
