Position Summary

As a Sr. Analyst, IT Planning supporting the CITO, the leader will play a pivotal role in helping the CITO to shape the organization's technology strategy to ensure seamless IT operations. As a member of the IT Leadership Team, their responsibilities span a wide spectrum, from strategic planning to tactical execution. A few key aspects of the role include:

STRATEGIC PLANNING AND ALIGNMENT -

• Collaborate closely with the CITO and the IT Leadership Team to align technology initiatives with the overall business objectives.
• Assist the CITO to annually refresh the Oceaneering 4-year systems roadmap.
• Identify emerging technologies and work with others on the IT leadership team to assess their impact to the organization.

BUDGETING AND RESOURCE ALLOCATION -

• Drive annual and multi-year IT planning, programming, and budgeting reporting.
• Lead departmental monthly budget forecasting and reporting activities.

OVERSEE IT REPORTING -

• Develop procedures and track compliance of important IT reporting and operational activities such as internal and external audit responses, mandatory training compliance.
• Work with the it leadership team to develop reports that track important dates and initiatives.

IT VENDOR MANAGEMENT & LICENSE COMPLIANCE -

• Assist the IT leaders and our software procurement department to define software licensing and acquisition functions that include:

o Roles and responsibilities for all stakeholders.
o Managing compliance with software end user contracts on a periodic basis (e.g., quarterly).

• Act as an IT escalation point and assist to investigate and resolve IT vendor payment concerns/inquiries.

IT COMMUNICATIONS -

• Develop strategies for communicating the value of IT to the Oceaneering organization.
• Assist the CITO in preparing strategic IT presentations.

IT TEAM COORDINATOR -

• Assist the CITO with administrative tasks such as scheduling leadership team meetings, arranging travel, etc.

• Ability to get along with others and mentor other aspiring leaders.
• Ability to organize offsite meetings and extracurricular activities, such as volunteering initiatives.
• Ability to work with other teams and departments to resolve escalated issues.
• Assist the CITO with anselary tasks, such as travel, expense reporting, etc.
• Assist others in the IT department with adminstrative concerns as needed.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Strong organizational skills required.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Experienced in IT budgeting and planning.
• 5-7 Project management experience.

DESIRED

• Experience working in a similar role or in the "office of the CIO" or as a "chief of staff".
• Experience working in a very large IT department.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders.

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
