Sr Automation Business Systems Analyst - Healthcare

Job Description:

Relevant Experience (Years): 10 Years

Experience required
  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Must have 5+ years of experience as a Automation analyst / Business Systems Analyst
  • Extensive experience in healthcare claims and payment integrity processes
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid)
  • Proficiency in SQL with experience in writing and optimizing complex queries , API analysis and design mapping
  • Ability to work independently and at a detailed, low level
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working within an agile, continuous integration environment
  • Experience collaborating with external vendors such as Cotiviti, Optum, and McKesson is highly preferred
  • Experience of working with Robotics Process Automation projects and cloud environments is desired


Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and documentation of business processes related to healthcare claims and payment integrity
  • Create requirements and specifications for business solutions
  • Consult with key stakeholders to determine business objectives and success factors
  • Write and document business requirements, functional requirements, and design specifications
  • Develop, write, and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data
  • Work with information technology professionals to develop a solution that meets business requirements
  • Continuously improve existing business processes and strive to develop new ones to improve efficiency
  • Develop processes and procedures to ensure business solutions meet strategic goals
  • Ensure business processes are running in accordance with Agile methodologies
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Support Production runs
