LaSalle Network is partnering with a global manufacturing company to identify a Financial Systems Analyst to join their organization. Our client is looking for a Financial Systems Analyst to work within its Corporate Finance & Accounting Department, maintaining and assisting with development and maintenance of its financial consolidation system, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Financial Data Quality Management, Enterprise Edition (FDMEE) and legacy applications. The Financial Systems Analyst will be part of a team that is responsible for effective operations, maintenance and training of the Corporate financial systems. This position will report to the Manager of Financial Systems. This position requires the ability to be onsite, in Glenview, IL.

Financial Systems Analyst Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance of financial application metadata, reports and data interface mappings
• Develop and maintain financial application security
• Manage and monitor financial application data integrity
• Interface with the user community for training needs and troubleshooting user issues
• Create and modify detailed application processes and procedures
• Participate in financial application upgrades/patches
• Support Microsoft SharePoint sites
• Participate in SOX compliance related to Corporate financial applications
• Job responsibilities require periodic evening and weekend work

Financial Systems Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or Information Technology
• 4+ years of experience working with financial systems in a large corporate financial reporting department; experience with HFM, SQL databases and SQL query language a plus
• Strong understanding of financial processes, such as the monthly accounting close cycle, forecasting and reporting. Ability to explain and interpret accounting/financial information from a business and technological standpoint
• Excellent communication, technical and analytical skills as well as the ability to follow precise procedures and strong attention to details required
