The Business Analyst will collaborate closely and cross-functionally within the business to report on our financial and operational data to ensure we are meeting our deliverables. This role will focus on enhancing our financial and operational data accuracy and reducing manual efforts. This is a hands-on position that requires a candidate who is willing to dig into the details but is still capable of maintaining a 20k-foot view.

Job Title: Business Analyst Role:

Essential Functions:

• Manage the monthly close and reporting cycle for Tech Ops with a focus on leveraging variance analysis to drive business results.

• Provide analytics in support of revenue, operational and business initiatives, including financial modeling, KPIs tracking and evaluation.

• Work closely with senior leadership to understand business challenges and provide data/analysis for better decision making.

• Communicate complex analysis and insights to senior leaders, both verbally and in writing.

• Perform on-going and ad hoc reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.

Required Experience:

Minimum of four years' related experience in a software development environment.

• Excel experience, including pivot tables, advanced formula functions and construction of financial or planning analyses

• PowerBI or other visualization tools

• Strong computer skills

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted till 10/5/2024.

The annual salary for this role will be in the range of $93K-$109K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
