Sr Cloud System Administrator (Secret clearance)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr Cloud System Administrator (Windows based) to support a critical cloud O&M program in Alexandria, VA . The team is seeking a skilled administrator to support the Windows servers in an AWS cloud environment for an on-going Army program in Kingstowne.

Clearance : Secret clearance

Location: Alexandria, VA

Schedule: Standard operating hours (9-5), 100% onsite

Responsibilities of the Sr Windows Administrator:
• Responsible for provisioning windows servers and providing backup and recovery support
• Apply DoD STIG security compliance standards to server environment
• Develop technical documentation consisting of recovery plans and SOPs
• Configure Windows servers in AWS cloud environment and implement compliance standards
• Provide tier III windows administration and engineering support
• Automate servers utilizing Powershell scripting

Qualifications of the Sr Windows Administrator:
• Must hold an active secret clearance
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years of system and server administration experience
• Must hold an active IAT II certification (Sec+ or equivalent)
• Microsoft Windows Certifications (MCSE/MCSA) highly desired as well as AWS certifications
• Experience with windows server patching, account creation, troubleshooting, scripting, and provisioning
• Experience utilizing Active Directory
• Experience with automated scripting (Powershell, Bash, Ansible) scripting

Compensation of the Sr Windows Administrator:
• Compensation: $130,000 - $170,000+ based on years of experience
