Responsibilities

The Role...

The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist is on the Marketing team, reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager and works on the Premier Protein brand. They will be responsible for managing the brand's influencer strategy and overseeing execution, running day-to-day influencer vendor relationships, leading campaign reporting, and staying up to date on industry trends and developments to be a strategic voice on the digital team. This role will regularly collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage outside agencies in support of key brand priorities.

This position will be based remotely in Arizona, and each remote employee comes to our Emeryville, California headquarters at least quarterly for various meetings, such as annual departmental team building and planning meetings, annual plan kick-off all-hands meeting, quarterly state-of-the-company updates, or other large cross-functional meetings. The expected pay scale for this role is $75k to $85k, which may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic area (if applicable), and internal equity for the role.

Influencer strategy and management 55% of time

o Manage Premier Protein's influencer marketing strategy, including ideation, overseeing execution, and partnering with agency on reporting.

o Lead all influencer reviews and approvals, coordinating with internal teams to gather and consolidate feedback.

o Supports annual and quarterly influencer planning.

o Writes briefs for initiation with agency partners.

o Provides influencer recommendations and works with brand/cross-functional leads to align campaigns with brand news/priorities.

o Responsible for influencer product fulfillment.

o Monitor competitive landscape to ensure a best-in-class digital presence for our brands.

Social support and integration 20% of time

o Oversee influencer boosting content and budget.

o Review and fulfill Surprise & Delight initiative to engage potential new influencers and build brand love.

o Partner with creative agency on developing content via Premier Shakers workstream to ensure a smooth process where creators are briefed, content is reviewed, and delivered on time.

Analytics, budget, and reporting 15% of time

o Responsible for influencer budget(s), including status updates to brand and finance teams.

o Work with agencies to analyze data, form insights, and make recommendations based on past performance.

o Responsible for internal recaps and reports to share program updates as needed.

The daily stuff that everyone does but few quantify: 10% of time

o Impromptu brainstorms with your colleagues on the marketing team

o Attending meetings and presentations

o Participating in company-wide activities and events galore

o Administrative like email, calendaring, expense reports, and other non-value-added work

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in marketing or similar discipline

Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in marketing/digital marketing

• Demonstrated creativity and passion for influencer marketing

• Experience with Sprout Social (or other social management tools) a plus

• Agency experience a plus

Skills:

• Demonstrated creativity and passion for digital marketing technologies

• Should have a test and learn mentality, always looking to try new things and improve

• Strong verbal and written communications skills

• Ability to synthesize feedback to move workstreams forward in effective and efficient ways

• Ability to adapt and pivot swiftly when unforeseen circumstances arise
