THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

The Senior IT Analyst plays a pivotal role in guiding the development, maintenance, and support of Ulta's OMNI Fulfillment ecosystem, encompassing Inventory availability and promising, Order Management, Guest Services Application, and OMNI Store Fulfillment application. They have an in-depth understanding of the solution and technology landscape and act as the primary liaison for the solution engineering group across various departments. This role is instrumental in crafting and implementing innovative solutions to propel the organization forward. Constantly optimizes the current omnichannel fulfillment (Ship to home, ship from store, Buy online pick up in Store, Same day delivery, Store to door, etc.) to improve speed, accuracy, and inventory efficiency, and provide seamless and premium customer experience.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
  • Executes and Delivers (70%): Designs, builds, tests, implements, and sustains software solutions, ensuring the intended value; Embraces new challenges with a sense of urgency, exuding high energy and enthusiasm; Demonstrates consistent achievement of results, especially in challenging scenarios; Provides input to the construction of diverse test suites (functional, non-functional and destructive) to facilitate successful and swift code deployment to production; Adopts a broad perspective in problem-solving, utilizing an enterprise outlook.
  • Plans and Coordinates (15%): Engages with fellow team members in agile processes; Innovates to enhance organizational success; Collaborates with the Product Team to craft user stories that are valuable, developer-ready, easily comprehensible, and testable; Communicates effectively through various modes, ensuring a clear understanding tailored to different audiences' unique needs; Adjusts approach dynamically to address the changing requirements of varied situations.; Cultivates open and comfortable relationships with a variety of people from cross-functional groups.
  • Facilitates and Empowers (5%): Nurtures the development of junior engineers by offering guidance on contemporary software development frameworks and leading discussions on technical aspects.
  • Acquires Skills and Evolves (10%): Proactively seeks avenues for personal growth and acquires pertinent skills through both formal and informal developmental pathways.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues.
  • support Outage Calls and Root Cause Analysis for the problems.
  • Holiday readiness planning and Holiday readiness testing guidance.
  • Management of Quarterly upgrades and feature pack update of IBM OMS.
  • Adapt and apply processes, policies, standards, and procedures to assure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies.
  • Performance monitoring and performance tuning of the OMS application modules
THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with implementation of IBM Sterling Order Management Suite (preferably on Cloud or SaaS).
  • Experience with front end technology such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AngularJS frameworks, an object-oriented programming language (preferably Java), Relational or NoSQL database technology, cloud computing techniques, CI/CD tools, modern software design patterns.
  • Experience with providing advisory for creating and executing unit, functional, destructive and performance tests.
  • Experience with contemporary debugging tools, methods, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with version control system.
  • Experience with security frameworks for user and API/services authorization and authentication
