What We're Looking For:

Meltwater is in search of a Senior IT Support Specialist who will play a critical role in ensuring the world class delivery of IT services to the business. Serving as a member of the IT Service Desk, this position involves providing high-level technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and recommending efficient solutions while providing a high level of customer service.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide advanced technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and some network issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems related to Meltwaters Information Systems.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of IT systems administered by the IT Service Desk.
  • Lead projects and other initiatives as directed by management.
  • Monitor and maintain security protocols and practices to protect company data and systems.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to develop or improve the IT service desks knowledge base as well as IT policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular system audits and generate reports on system performance and security.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior IT staff and end-users.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements and upgrades.

What You'll Bring:
  • Minimum of 7 years in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and MAC OS support.
  • Proficiency with Android and iPhone support.
  • General knowledge of network protocols and services.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management systems such as JAMF and Intune.
  • Ability to resolve complex incidents and requests in relation to hardware and software in use by the business.
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, and as a member of a team.

  • Total compensation range for this position: $75k-$85k USD per year.
