Sr. Marketing Insight Analyst, Marketing Insights Strategy and Execution

Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon.com and a leader in cloud computing, is seeking a Marketing Insight Analyst responsible for supporting the analytics and program management for the marketing insights and research teams. This position will play a key role in analyzing data, summarizing insights, and providing program management support to enable Marketing Insight development and cross-organization collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Research Hypothesis Development & Prioritization:
• \tCo-creation and individual development of strategic hypotheses problem / opportunity statements to support research prioritization framework.
• \tDefine research strategy to understand the value at stake for problem solutioning or opportunity capture.
• \tPartner with research teams and data / analytics teams to develop growth strategy opportunities, investment required and time to value realization models.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
• \tCollect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets from various sources to derive insights and identify trends.
• \tDevelop reports and visualizations to communicate strategic opportunities and trade-off options.
• \tCollaborate with data teams and stakeholders to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
• \tConduct ad-hoc analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making processes.
Market Insights Program Support:
• \tCollaborate with the Senior Manager Marketing Insights and cross-functional teams to develop a project / program management plan to deliver insights across the organization. This includes developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure successful project execution.
• \tMonitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
• \tCommunicate project status, progress, and updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• \tSupport the preparation of reports, presentations, and recommendations to support marketing insights socialization

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in program management and insights development experience
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, Tableau)
- Strong project management experience
- Strong analytical, and problem solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, M.S.) is preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and influence abilities - design thinking skill set a plus!
- Critical thinking and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
