Sr. Payroll Analyst

A large manufacture and distribution company is looking for a Sr. Payroll Analyst to sit on-site in Las Colinas, TX 5 days a week. Listed below are some of the day to day tasks you will be completing.

Support plants with Kronos timekeeping system education and maintenance.
Support the payroll team by creating Tickets relating to Kronos, ADP GV.
Manage the time entry process to include outreach to employees and Office managers and other operation team members to ensure hourly employees are paid accurately and timely.
Always Maintain full quality Customer Service and sense of urgency when assisting, the payroll team, Plant personnel and Vendors.
Participate in projects such as ongoing process improvements and new feature adoption in Oracle HCM, ADP GV and Kronos.
Maintain process maps and documentation; update as processes evolve within the Department and companywide.
Serve knowledge for specialized tasks such as pay rules, Wage type set up, ticket reviewing
Oversee weekly, biweekly, month end and quarterly reconciliations of the General Ledger and reporting.
Upload GL files into the EBS System for the Accounting Department.
Understanding of Garnishments to assist with employee and creditors inquiries.
Maintain confidentiality of employee records including compensation details and personal information.
Follow all SOX compliance and ensure that the Payroll Department maintains within SOX compliance at all times.
Audit of SOX compliance and Systems tickets with ADP GV and Kronos.
Vacation, SICK and HOL set up, recons, and recording.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degreefrom an accredited University or College
5+ years' experience in Payroll
Experience with union worker payroll
Heavy background in kronos workforce now
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel (must be able to conduct data analysis, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
Experience with SAP

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience using HCM platforms such as Oracle HCM, ADP, and KRONOS
APA (American Payroll Association) CPP or FPC Certification
Experience uploading GLs for payroll
Background in configuring timesheets before sending them to UKG
