JOB TITLE : PeopleSoft HCM Programmer Analyst

EMPLOYMENT TYPE/DURATION : Contract role - Contract Duration: 1 to 2 years (renewed annually).

COMPENSATION: $70-78/hour

LOCATION DETAILS : San Bernardino, CA 100% On-Site role (can be hybrid later)

ABOUT THE ROLE :
  • Target years of experience? - 5+ years of experience with Peoplesoft and HCM
  • Top 3-5 Technical Skills
  • Proficient with PeopleSoft development suite - Application Designer, SQR, Application Engine, AWE, Query, etc.
  • Advanced PeopleCode experience.
  • Expert knowledge of PeopleSoft on-boarding processes.
  • Experience with Application Packages, Component Interface, Fluid Development, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Experience integrating 3rd party recruiting systems into a PeopleSoft environment.


The position requires an expert understanding of the PeopleSoft hiring processes as well as experience with the PeopleSoft suite of development products (Application Designer, SQR, Application Engine, SQL etc.) and familiarity with all phases of the SDLC. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing existing on-boarding procedures and implementing integrations that will consume hiring information into PeopleSoft. Candidates should possess excellent problem solving, organizational and communication skills, and keep abreast with emerging technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Designing, implementing and testing HCM application involving new features and functionality from functional requirements.
  • Maintenance, support, design, development, and implementation of HCM application.
  • Developing and maintaining applications and modules related to employee on-boarding.
  • Payroll, Time and Labor, Benefits, Benefits Administration, ePerformance and Talent Acquisition Management and Candidate Gateway modules
  • Database design in Oracle, SQL and formulating advanced SQL queries.
  • Developing new and maintaining existing Database ETL processes and reports.
  • Good communication skills, ability to work independently and in team environment, and communicate with clients.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills; ability to handle changes in business requirements and set priorities across multiple projects.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient with PeopleSoft development suite - Application Designer, SQR, Application Engine, AWE, Query, etc.
  • Expert knowledge of PeopleSoft on-boarding processes.
  • Advanced PeopleCode experience.
  • Experience with Application Packages, Component Interface, Fluid Development, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Experience selectively adopting bug fixes and new features from PUM Images.
  • Experience reducing customizations by use of Event Mapping and Drop Zones.
  • Advanced SQL experience on an Oracle database.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC.
  • Familiar with various design, architectural patterns, and HCM frameworks.
  • Ability to write clean, readable, modular, scalable and easily maintainable code with proper technical documentation.
  • Understanding of code versioning tools.
  • Troubleshooting, analytical skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience integrating 3rd party recruiting systems into a PeopleSoft environment.


Experience and Education:

Information Management, Computer Science, or any closely related field with at least 5 years' working experience using PeopleSoft, SQL and SQR. An equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered.

Pay Details: $70.00 to $78.00 per hour
