The role of the Senior Project Manager is to sit at the client site and supervise the engineering firms and oversee the client's CIP projects. They will represent the owner as a project manager, have 5-10 projects assigned to them, and coordinate with key stakeholders such as the engineer-of-record and construction contractor. They will plan out the projects, provide a high-level estimate, develop the scope, and negotiate with the engineering firms. They will also manage the firms, reviewing their plans and specifications, ensuring milestones are met and the schedule is maintained. The Sr. PM will resolve issues any issues that arise, develop performance metrics for the projects, and work alongside the construction manager and inspectors during the construction phase. Ultimately, they will work to ensure timely delivery of these projects and see them through conceptual ideas to construction and warranty periods. The salary is between $120-160k.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Project Engineer (PE) certification (highly preferred), or Project Management Professional (PMP) or Design- Build Institute of America (DBIA) certification
- Experience with water treatment plants, water reclamation facilities, water distribution networks, pipelines, and/or pumpstations (inside or outside the fence work)
- 10-15+ years of experience in the industry, specifically with design and alternative delivery/design-bid-build methods
- Background in seeing a project from cradle-to-grave, providing oversight during planning, designing, scoping, and through the construction of the capital improvement plan (CIP) projects
- Background in budgeting and cost control, having worked on single projects greater than $10M
- Technical proficiency with Project Management Information Systems, BlueBeam or Adobe Pro
- Strong leadership and communication (written & verbal) skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Master's degree
- 5+ years of experience in program management
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) certifications
- Prior P&L (profit and loss) responsibility
