Senior Software Engineer - Job Reference #811123

As a Sr Java Developer, you will be developing and deploying enterprise mobile and web applications for a Fortune 500 company. You will be working in a highly modern and collaborative environment following Agile, Scrum, Extreme Programming, and Pair Programming to design and program. This team is always working with innovative technologies and you will have the opportunity to build enterprise applications from the ground up, hosted on Google Cloud Platform. You will also get the chance to see the product through its entire SDLC from design to production, as a Full Stack Developer following Test-Driven Development.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of backend development experience, primarily with Java and Spring Framework
• Modern programming experience following Agile/Scrum Methodology through entire lifecycle
• Frontend development experience with React or Angular
• Experience with a cloud application platform like Google Cloud, AWS, or Cloud Foundry
• Working knowledge of J2EE, JSON, XML, RESTful, Node.js, and JUnit
• Unit and/or Automation Testing experience is preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or similar degree

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for programming and customizing services within the Google Cloud
• Take business requirements and develop the total technical design for assigned projects and ensure proper usage as part of the design efforts in building a system to be put into production
• Conduct appropriate test reviews on assigned projects as necessary and present findings and offer solutions to management
• Backend development experience is most important for this role, but it is important to note that you will be doing frontend development as well
