Job Description: Program Manager, Specialist Technology Team
Position Overview:
The Program Manager for the Specialist Technology Team plays a crucial role in defining and executing cross-functional programs across a matrix organization of Specialist Solution Architects, their leaders, and other peers. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills to drive initiatives that foster innovation, diversity, inclusion, and professional development within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Definition and Execution:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize strategic programs and initiatives that align with the team's goals and objectives.
- Define program scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for successful execution.
- Develop and implement comprehensive program plans, including task assignments, milestones, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate cross-team activities, such as hackathons, workshops, and training sessions, to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
2. Diversity, Inclusion, and Engagement (DI&E) Initiatives:
- Champion and drive DI&E initiatives across the Specialist Organization.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote an inclusive and diverse work environment.
- Collaborate with HR and other relevant teams to ensure alignment with organizational DI&E goals and best practices.
- Organize events, workshops, and training sessions to raise awareness and promote a culture of inclusivity.
3. Specialist Ratings and Career Development:
- Oversee and facilitate the Specialist Ratings process, ensuring fair and objective evaluations.
- Collaborate with team leaders to define and communicate Specialist goals and career development opportunities.
- Identify skill gaps and training needs, and coordinate appropriate training programs or resources.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between the Specialist Technology Team and other teams, departments, and stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across matrix organizations.
- Coordinate and align program initiatives with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
- Represent the Specialist Technology Team in relevant meetings and discussions.
5. Reporting and Communication:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including status reports, project plans, and performance metrics.
- Communicate program progress, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders and executive leadership on a regular basis.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to various audiences, including executive leadership, to ensure alignment and buy-in.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in program management, project coordination, or a related role within a technology or matrix organization.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of diversity, inclusion, and engagement best practices and initiatives.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
