Supply Chain Compliance

The scope of this position encompasses the requirements to ensure that procurement activity is consistently within the guidelines set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), applicable government/customer regulations, and Bell's processes and procedures. This position serves as a subject matter expert on all Supply Chain audit and compliance matters or concerns. Coordination with internal functional management, departments, staff and external customers (both Government and applicable Customers) is a normal occurrence.

What You'll Be Doing as a Sr Supply Chain Compliance Specialist

  • Perform ongoing PO audits, capture trends, provide training on gap correction.
  • Review, record, and debrief the end products of all procurement actions, to ensure adherence with all applicable government, customer and company processes and procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring data request and questions from government audit agencies are effectively and efficiently communicated to responsible personnel, as well as to other support areas within the organization, and file required Govt reports.
  • Issue & monitor; Letter Contracts, Third Party Tooling Letters, Drop Ship Requests, Royalty payments, and Direct Ship authorization.
  • Assist the Small Business department with pre-RFP reviews as well as outreach events.
  • Must be proactive in establishing strong working relationships with procurement and other support areas to facilitate the development of effective, timely responses to government audit agency questions.
  • Lead the preparation of data and support external audit actions by US Government auditors to include DCAA and DCMA.
  • Travel will be required occasionally for training with Fort Worth Compliance team.

What You need to be Successful

  • Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Business, Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of experience relevant to the qualifications listed in the job description for this role is required.
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred.
  • Microsoft Suite experience, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
