As a Sr. TIPM in this role, you will be responsible for planning capacity needed for large data center network footprint upgrade projects (DC Refresh) and manage data center Site Turndown projects across the AMER and Gov regions.

Key job responsibilities

-\tDevelop and manage detailed plans to support DC Refresh projects starting with site identification, site feasibility studies, approvals, and position readiness.

-\tPrioritize DC Refresh projects based on opportunity size and cluster level constraints.

-\tInitiate and manage infill and rework process to support Requests for Space, Power, and Cooling (RSPC) per networking placement guidelines.

-\tMonitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation plans to ensure timely and successful project completion.

-\tDevelop tools and dashboards to monitor position readiness timelines and project progress.

-\tCommunicate project status, updates and issues to stakeholders and senior management.

-\tIdentify potential site turndown opportunities and initiate respective feasibility studies.

-\tWork with Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) team to submit rack retirement and migration requests during OP cycles.

-\tMonitor rack decom progress, escalate issues, and work with stakeholders to remove blockers.

-\tServes as the primary point of contact for all matters related to position planning for DC Refresh and Site Turndown projects in the region.

-\tLead cross-functional project meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams.

-\tTrack and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and project milestones.

-\tDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management processes and methodologies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of technical program management experience

- 6+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

- Technical program management experience working directly with cross functional engineering and program teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
