SSP Data User Studies Research Engineer

The successful candidate will have a proactive and positive approach with the ability to work autonomously, collaboratively and thoroughly on a range of confidential and time-sensitive assignments. In this role you will design and moderate user study sessions to support the software, firmware and algorithm design and validation of input mechanisms on various hardware products.

Description
User Studies Research Engineer will work multi-functionally with various teams to plan and execute study protocols, assist in study setup, coordinate surveys, and collect quantitative and qualitative data.

This individual will be an integral player in defining how to provide the best participant experience across our studies.

- Develop correspondence, recruit and schedule study participants

- Identify inefficiencies and streamline project-related databases and processes

- Own space utilization and coordinate study environment use, setup, and maintenance

- Manage and maintain study documents and electronic data

- Use and maintain hardware prototypes

- Facilitate one-on-one or large-group sessions individually and as a team.

- Able to produce significant visualizations and summaries of the data, and optimally present results to different audiences and across multiple media formats

- Organized, highly attentive to detail, and manages time well
