Role: Staff Accountant

Location: Houston, TX (on-site)

We are looking for a Staff Accountant! Our client in Houston, Texas is seeking a Staff Accountant on a contract-to-hire basis.

Job Responsibilities:
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Gather data and supporting schedules from third-party management companies, to maintain our own internal audit files.
• Import monthly trial balances (for residential entities under third-party management) into the system for consolidation.
• Process daily cash reconciliation.
• Review intercompany billings from Accounts Payable.
• Process daily/monthly journal entries.
• Approve AP invoices.
• Forward mail to Greystar/consult.

Job Requirements:
• 2 years of experience
