The Opportunity

Functions in a mid level engineer capacity, or technical specialist. Under general supervision, performs all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis. Broadens knowledge and skill set in area of discipline. May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and/or functional areas.

The Opportunity
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Functionin a technical specialist capacity. Under general supervision, performs all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis.
- Broadenknowledge and skill set in area of discipline. May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and/or functional areas.
- Develop Electrical design for water/wastewater projects
- Develop a variety of complex engineering deliverables including one-line diagrams, schematics, power and lighting plans, electrical installation details, and technical specifications
- Coordinate with regional and global design teams
- Continuous learning and development of technical expertise/specialty area
- Do project studies - Energy Optimization, Power System Coordination and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, and Electrical Reliability Analysis
- Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 3+ years in electrical design, planning and construction services
- Consulting and Water/Wastewater experience preferred
- Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software a plus
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing
- Minimum of 3 years related work experience
- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
