The Department of Medicine is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Research Associate II to join our dynamic research team. This role provides comprehensive administrative and technical research support to a Principal Investigator (PI)-run gnotobiotic animal facility. The successful candidate will be instrumental in facilitating research involving germ-free/gnotobiotic mice, contributing to innovative and impactful scientific discoveries. In this role, you will also manage the daily operations of the gnotobiotic animal facility, ensuring smooth functioning. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of animal usage, research activities, inventory, and experimental data. The role also involves assisting with grant applications, progress reports, and regulatory compliance documentation. Finally, you will schedule meetings, lab visits, and research collaborations, facilitating effective communication among team members.

Hourly range: $28.88-$46.46
