Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II and Staff Services Manager I, this traveling position performs detailed file audits and property/unit inspections for compliance issues affecting all multifamily rental housing projects throughout California that are funded with the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) (Internal Revenue Code Section 42) and other related analytical duties.
-Duties of these positions will include regular overnight travel and physical inspection of properties and housing units throughout the State of California. Travel will be for a minimum of 2 weeks a month, Monday - Friday, March - December.
-Physical inspection of the properties includes walking around properties, climbing multiple flights of stairs, entering the units of tenants, and inspecting easily accessible outside areas.
