You're Excited About US Because You Will...

-Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using appropriate dishwashing machines or other kitchen cleaning equipment.

-Clean and sanitize all walls, floors, counter surfaces, cutting boards on a continuous basis or as assigned.

-Place clean dishes, utensils and cooking equipment in appropriate storage areas.

-Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.

-Dispose of kitchen substances (such as grease) and kitchen chemicals properly. Transports garbage containers to dump sites and adheres to recycling regulations. Sorts and removes trash, placing it in designated pickup areas. Empties and cleans trashcans.

We're Excited About YOU Because...

-No related experience and/or training is required; although previous stewarding experience desired.

-You have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

-You have a valid current Food Handlers Card or have the willingness and ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.

-You are willing and able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. Work schedules will include working on holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.

-You are available 10AM - 4PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

The expected hourly rate for this position is $17.00. The Meritage Resort & Spa reserves the right to modify or update this rate at any time. The actual rate offered will be at the sole discretion of the company and determined by relevant experience, qualifications, and skillset of the final candidate. A full-time team member in this role is eligible for health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, 401k, educational reimbursement, and paid time off, including vacation and sick leave.
