Job Summary:

The Student Affairs Project Manager facilitates effective operations in the division of student affairs through division communications, initiative progress monitoring, as well as team coordination and training. This position will be responsible for the development of new procedures and tools to create transparency and data driven efficiencies between recruitment, student onboarding, enrollment management, student supports, student engagement, athletics, and registrar as well as with other departments on campus. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Student Affairs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Occasional supervision of student workers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the preparation of internal and external reports including documentation for the Board of Trustees and external bodies
  • Develop processes and maintain records for the athletic department
  • Coordinate the development and maintenance of the student-athlete and coaches handbooks
  • Track communication with athletic donors in an effort to cultivate donor relationships
  • Develop timeline for departmental activities and coordinate completion of activities
  • Assist with maintenance of Student Affairs budget
  • Oversee process for selection of the Academic All-Star
  • Coordinate communication to students on nonpayment and never attend lists
  • Co-sponsor of Rotaract Club
  • Interact with students, faculty, staff, and the public to ensure efficient and effective operations. This may range from in-person communication to the development of tools and training
  • Manage new projects which may include initiative or facility development
  • Other duties as assigned
