Objectives of this Role:

  • Support design, analysis, documentation, verification, and test of digital electronics and embedded software for space applications including command and control, data storage, signal processing, and communications.
  • Participate in the full lifecycle design for related software in high reliability systems for space applications; perform documentation and implement designs from concept to application.
  • Fall 2024, Spring 2025, Summer 2025 Internship


Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Learn from and work with full-time staff that are responsible for design, test, and delivery of printed circuit boards, FPGA, and/or embedded software.
  • Perform tasks related to applied research, hardware and software integration, testing, implementation, installation, and documentation.


Requirements:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 0 years: C/C++ software development knowledge.
  • Embedded software development understanding related to high-reliability or low-power systems.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.


Special Requirements:
