Job Description

This position will work closely with the Clerkship Director to coordinate medical student participation in clerkship and elective activities in the Department of Neurology, Responsibilities will include CANVAS course coordination, preparation of orientation materials and coordination of meetings, didactics, and clinical sessions, with residents and clinicians. The individual will also be responsible for administering examinations, collecting, and collating grades, and evaluations, and communicating with the Office of Medical Education to ensure compliance with the Liaison committee for Medical Education regulations.

This position is part of the education team and is crossed trained to provide support to the Department of Neurology, the Neurology Residency Program, and Fellowship Programs, as directed by the Department Administrator. Other specific duties include oversight of our observership program for International Medical Graduates, seeking experience in the US Medical system within the department.

Shift

8am - 5pm, Mon-Fri, (40 hours/week) occasional early or late meetings required for recruiting

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. At least three years of customer service or clerical/ administrative support experience. Broad and deep understanding of higher education and/or residency programs and/or health care is desired. Proficiency in MS Office including advanced skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook is a must. Knowledge of graduate medical education, human resources, and credentialing along with related policies and software programs is desired. PeopleSoft experience is preferred.

Hiring Range: $16.72 - $22.00 / hour
