Shift: PRN Day Shift | 6:45 PM-7:15 AM

Min of 4 shifts per 6 weeks plus 2 minor & 1 major holidays per year. Floats to L&D and NFU (New Family Unit) Mother Baby

Patient Ratios: Varies based on acuity.

Number of Beds: 9 L&D rooms; 2 OR'

Experience: (2) Two years recent, full-time, L & D/New Baby & Mom experience in nursing is required.

Job Summary

As an RN Float, you are vital in healthcare, coordinating patient care based on our nursing model. You assess patients, plan personalized care, and evaluate responses to health issues. You keep patients safe by understanding their needs and the healthcare setting for smoother transitions. You delegate interventions to team members based on guidelines, patient condition, and team abilities. Your professionalism and experience help you make important recommendations that impact patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • You should have graduated from an accredited program in nursing
  • The main area of study in your education should be nursing.
  • (2) Two years of hands-on L & D/New Baby & Mom experience in nursing is required.
  • Have basic life support certification or get it within 30 days of starting.
