Duties
As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist at the GS-0201-14, some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Lead a staff of human resources (HR) professionals in the planning, organizing, and directing of team efforts to manage complex HR functions in the areas of staffing, recruitment and placement, organizational design, position classification, position management, and employee onboarding.
- Implement strategic HR initiatives that align with SBA's mission and disaster assistance goals.
- Provide expert HR guidance to senior leadership, ensuring all operations support the agency's strategic objectives.
- Oversee HR policies, ensuring compliance with Federal regulations and SBA standards.
- Serve as a strategic partner to management, driving HR improvements and supporting disaster response efforts.
- Optimize HR operations, enhancing performance and ensuring readiness for audits and evaluations.
