We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Supply Chain Manager to lead our procurement and supply chain operations for high-performance computing (HPC) systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and possess deep expertise in HPC, strong technical acumen, and extensive experience in managing and optimizing complex supply chains. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive technical procurement processes and ensure seamless coordination between engineering, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.



Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end procurement process for HPC systems, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships. Ensure that all technical requirements and specifications are met or exceeded
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, focusing on performance, quality, and cost efficiency. Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to ensure reliable delivery of critical components
  • Leverage deep knowledge of high-performance computing systems, including GPUs (Graphics Processing Units), CPUs, servers, networking, and storage technologies, to make informed procurement decisions. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and ensure the acquisition of the best-fit solutions
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize the supply chain for cost, efficiency, and resilience. Implement best practices in supply chain management to improve lead times, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance
  • Lead and manage complex procurement projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and deliverables
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure business continuity by proactively managing supplier performance and exploring alternative sourcing options when necessary
  • Analyze procurement and supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and cost-saving initiatives. Prepare regular reports for senior management on supply chain performance
  • Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct in supplier interactions


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of HPC systems and components, including GPUs, CPUs, servers, networking, and storage solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing supply chain challenges
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, procurement processes, and supplier management
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Engineering and supply chain management, with a focus on AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, storage nodes, and data centers
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices within the technology sector
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint
  • Experience with Jira and Python software is preferred

      $72,000 - $264,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

      Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
