POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides administrative support to the Supply Chain department.
  • Assists the Purchasing team by providing customer service to internal and external customers in the areas of vendor registration, purchase orders, contracts, pricing, products, logistics, quality, documentation, services and a wide variety of Supply Chain functions.
  • Performs clerical work essential to the operations of the department and order lifecycle support.
  • Some initiative, independent judgment and decision making is required.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or its equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in the Supply Chain field or a demonstrated knowledge base of Supply Chain functions and operations is required.
  • One year of related college level course work (24 credit hours) may be substituted for 6 months experience. College or commercial school courses in business functions are preferred.
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to make independent judgments and take professional accountability for areas of responsibility.
