This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN-TITLE 32, Position Description Number PDD1185000 and is part of the KY JFHQ, National Guard.

Duties
As a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN-TITLE 32, GS-2005-7, you will be responsible for the property book operations of the organization in the areas of inventory management, equipment coordination, and supply management for non-expendable items. Review, analyze, and submit recommendations relative to MTOE and/or force structure changes to determine the impact on organizational equipment authorizations. Plan, develop, and maintain actions in preparation for the transfer of accountable property for deployment. Maintain property book accountability utilizing an automated system and computer programs. Establish hand receipt files for each unit and maintain accountability using hand receipt listings. Assure all authorized non-expendable property is on hand or requisitioned. Account for funds used to requisition non-expendable property. Schedule, direct, and conduct inspections, inventories and change of hand receipt records. Coordinate with the state level headquarters and subordinate units on the lateral transfer and/or turn-in of excess property. Establish quality procedures and oversee the edit of all documents. Establish administrative procedures and oversee the flow of documents and reports through the Property Book Office. Provide technical guidance and assistance to logistic personnel. Function as the primary advisor in the operation of the automated property accountability system. Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is located on a tobacco free facility.
This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:
Experience with supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least 12 months experience utilizing governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions. Experience conducting extensive searches for required information. Experience reconstructing records for complex supply transactions. Experience providing supply operations for storage management in special program areas, maintenance, and/or production shops. Experience performing routine aspects of supply work where assignments include individual case problems related to one of the major areas of supply management, such as inventory management, excess property, storage management, etc.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment. (Example: 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981; 0800-1630 M-F or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981; 40 hrs/wk) Use of year only and unspecified work schedule will result in disqualification.
