Job Description: SQL Server DBA Support Engineer
Location: Onsite, Las Colinas, Fargo, Charlotte, or Redmond
Pay Range: $32.25 - $35.62
Contract Length: 6 - 18 Months

Our client, a leader is seeking a Support Engineer to join their team. As a Support Engineer, the main function of a Support Engineer is to provide technical assistance to computer system users. A typical Support Engineer is responsible for answering questions or resolving computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from a remote location. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully with the organization.
What's the Job?

Provide technical assistance to system users in person, via telephone, or remotely.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to SQL databases and cloud services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system efficiency and user satisfaction.

Manage and maintain SQL Server Data Warehouses and Azure Synapse environments.

Analyze network connectivity and troubleshoot IT infrastructure issues. What's Needed?

Minimum 2+ years of experience in technical support or IT consulting, preferably with cloud services like Azure.

2+ years of SQL developer experience, DBA roles considered.

Expertise in SQL Server Data Warehouse, Azure Synapse, or similar MPP cloud-based databases.

Proficiency in TSQL, PL/SQL, and tools like Azure Data Factory or SQL Server Integration Services.

Strong knowledge of network connectivity and related technologies (Network+, CCNA preferred).
