8:00 am- 5:00 pm; Monday -Friday

Primary Purpose of Position
Shipping and receiving clerks are responsible for the proper handling and routing of inbound and outbound freight and merchandise. Responsible for the timely submission of accurate shipping/receiving documents.
Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalency.

University Preferred Qualifications:

Graduation from high school or successful completion of its equivalency and one year of relevant experience in the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Essential Job Duties
  • Prepare requisitions, post bid sales, maintain detailed inventory records, receiving, delivering, storing, issuing and care of stockroom /warehouse supplies.
  • Perform more skilled processes/procedures (e.g. determine equipment value).
  • Serve as a technical resource and may train or lead other employees.
Other Work Responsibilities Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
  • Experience with preparing requisitions.
  • Experience with maintaining inventory records.
  • Experience with receiving, delivering, storing, issuing and care of stockroom /warehouse supplies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Experience in general office skills, computer skills.
  • Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
Necessary Licenses or Certifications
  • Valid driver's license.
