Our client is a prominent medical clinic specializing in eye care. They are seeking a dedicated Surgery Scheduler to manage patient appointments and ensure efficient scheduling operations.

Job Description:

Our client is looking to fill a Surgery Scheduler position to support their busy clinic. This role involves coordinating surgical schedules, managing patient inquiries, and handling scheduling for multiple providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule surgeries and appointments for a high volume of patients, typically 25-30 per day.
• Address patient inquiries regarding coverage and payment details.
• Coordinate with various insurance carriers, including government and commercial plans.
• Support multiple providers with daily scheduling needs.
• Maintain efficient scheduling operations in a high-volume clinic setting.
• Assist with other clinic tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in surgery scheduling.
• Familiarity with ophthalmology is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume of patient appointments.
• Experience with insurance carrier processes and patient coverage.

Additional Details:

• This is a Contract-to-Hire (CTH) position.
• Background check required; no drug screening.
