The IT System Administrator will be part of a successful, dynamic team that provides hybrid cloud and on premises support in our New York headquarters. Candidate will work with diverse technologies and participate in strategic projects in a collaborative environment leveraging diverse technologies including Azure, O365, Azure AD, Okta, Windows Server, and VMWare.

Responsibilities

• System administration duties

• Office 365 and Azure Cloud Compute and Storage Administration

• Data analysis, scripting, and automation

• Enterprise Applications Administration and Monitoring

• Active Directory and Identity Management Administration (on premise, Azure Active Directory, and Okta)

• Monitor system, server and network alerts; resolve issues

• Manage backups and restores on premise and in the Azure Cloud

• Monitor and test data replication / synchronization and disaster recovery systems

• Manage asset tracking for responsible offices

• Ensure that rights management and security comply with company policy Work closely with other regional IT support teams to maintain company infrastructure

• Participate in project initiatives

• Work closely with the IT Engineering team on cloud, infrastructure, application, security and compliance projects

• Work in the role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) for certain areas of responsibility

• Document systems and procedures

• Provide second level desktop support at times for desktops and laptops; includes contact with user community and requires great customer service skills

• Be on call for After-Hours Emergency Support coverage approximately four weeks a year Requirements

• At least 3 years of IT experience as an IT Systems Administrator supporting a hybrid cloud environment including Windows, Azure, and O365

• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Applications such as iManage Work, Office 365 Email, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint

• Must have strong experience with servers in a physical, virtual and cloud environment including migrating workloads between platforms

• Azure and O365 certifications a strong plus

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong automation, PowerShell scripting and other orchestration technologies

• Complex data analysis skills using tools such as PowerBI

• A solid understanding and experience working with major compliance standards such as HIPAA or SOC2 is preferred.

• Strong knowledge Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 administration

• Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, network basics, and Windows 10 troubleshooting and administration skills

• Strong experience with endpoint computing including PCs, Citrix XenApp, and VDI.

• Experience with O365 Security and Compliance tools

• Solid understanding of security best practices, networking concepts, threats, tools and remediation techniques

• Experience with McAfee Endpoint Security Enterprise suite (including McAfee ePO) preferred

• Experience with remote access solutions such as SonicWALL or next generation remote access

• Experience with Infrastructure Applications such as or similar to AppSense, Varonis DatAdvantage / DatAlert, CyberArk, Qualys, Microsoft SCOM/SCCM, Forcepoint, and VMware

• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer-service skills

The current salary range for this position is $76,000 to $95,000 plus opportunity for a discretionary performance bonus based on company profitability and employee performance.
