Job Duties:

• The Health and safety of our people and environment together with the flight safety of our products is the number one priority in the execution of this job function and must be taken into account during any maintenance activities being performed.
• Troubleshoots complex equipment problems and recommends time, equipment, and materials required to effect repairs; initiates emergency repairs as required.
• Inspects, evaluates, and repairs a variety of complex and critical mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Performs or oversees maintenance work in accordance with OEM recommendations and technical requirements and to department standards.
• Coordinates the installation and repair of industrial equipment involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Assist in the troubleshooting of equipment using PLC's, electronic VFD's, and other types of automated control circuits.
• Sourcing and ordering of services and replacement parts via liaising with vendors and contractors.
• Follows a daily and weekly schedule to effectively complete maintenance and repair tasks within specified timeframes and log work completed in the work order tracking system.
• Responsible for the total productive maintenance (TPM) of the building and industrial equipment to assure continued operations, avoid unscheduled downtime and failures, and extend the useful life of the associated equipment.
• Assists in the maintaining of special processing equipment in terms of chemical concentration and filtration in the non-destructive inspection, cleaning lines, and bearing inspection areas.
• Responsible for logging all maintenance tasks performed and corrective actions implemented in the designated TPM books.
• Applies industry-standard work practices to perform the daily requested maintenance activities autonomously and responsibly while observing all health and safety procedures.
• Manage multiple priorities and advance several tasks in parallel.
• Assist in the training of personnel in job specific maintenance tasks.

Candidate skills & requirements
Requirements:

• Certificate from college or technical school; or 2 to 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic Level - Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Mechanical/technical/interpersonal skills must be adapted to the unique requirements of the organization.
• Knowledge and aptitude in motor and control circuits and programmable logic control systems a plus.
• Electro-mechanical aptitude and ability to understand complex diagrams and schematics is a plus.
• Knowledge and aptitude in programming electronic devices associated with infrastructure systems.
• Available for "On-Call" work rotation, and willingness to work overtime including weekends as needed.
