This senior-level position requires a professional with a strong background in banking and risk management, who can effectively drive product development and align with stakeholder priorities. Technology Product Owner Job Details
The successful candidate will have 10-15 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a recent Product Owner role. A prior technical background as an IT Business Analyst or Functional Analyst is preferred. You will be responsible for initiating the development process, documenting project scope, and maintaining the product backlog. Key responsibilities include prioritizing user stories, setting feature-level priorities, and conducting demos and walkthroughs. You will hold yourself and Business Analysts accountable for writing stories/tasks that meet the Definition of Ready and perform/oversee user acceptance testing. Your role will include acting as the voice of the customer by understanding stakeholder priorities and driving alignment with peer product teams.

Technology Product Owner Mandatory Skills
- Extensive experience in banking, particularly in risk management including Credit Risk, Consumer Oversight, Retail Risk, Market Risk, and Regulatory Reporting such as CCAR, CECL, FDIC, FRY-9C.
- Proven ability to create, prioritize, and maintain a product backlog.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct effective communication and teamwork.
- Relevant business expertise and sufficient technology literacy.
