BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Test Automation Engineer for an opportunity in Chicago, IL

Position Title: Test Automation Engineer

Location: Chicago, IL Hybrid 3 Days Onsite
Anticipated Start Date: July

Expected Duration: 06 -12+ months contract (with possibility of extension)

Job Type: Contract, 40 HRS WEEKLY, Hybrid 3 Days Onsite
Pay Range: $50/Hr on W2

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Requirements:

1. Test Automation Engineer UFT + Cucumber

2. Oracle SQL / PLSQL

3. Core Java

Job Description:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering with a minimum of 10+ years of overall experience.
• Strong functional testing skills with financial domain experience.
• Experience with SQL.
• Exposure to automation frameworks like Selenium and Cucumber or similar tools would be a huge plus.
• Experience working in Agile team setting.
• Thrive in an energetic, fast-paced environment - learn and become productive quickly and meet team goals, can-do attitude, able to do what it takes to deliver. Desire to take on new challenges and deliver.
• Detailed oriented, quality conscious, with an eye toward simplicity.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Must have skills:

1. Test Automation Engineer UFT + Cucumber

2. Oracle SQL / PLSQL

3. Core Java
