Testing Program Manager - Insurance

Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Test Program Manager -Insurance whowill be responsible for managing strategically the entire QA delivery and landscape for an Insurance Client.

Responsibilities:

• Participating in preparation of quality assessments, reports, and metrics formulating go-no go statement based on reports and metrics, test progress and defect status

• Presenting test improvements and developments in daily progress meetings including planned - Lead the planning and implementation of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

• Oversee the development and execution of Auto Functional/Regression Testing strategies to ensure software quality.

• Provide guidance and support to the testing team in Automation and REST/API Service Testing.

• Manage and utilize Test Management Tools to track progress, identify issues, and ensure timely resolution.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects.

• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing and project management.

• Develop and maintain project documentation, including test plans, test cases, and status reports.

• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and outcomes.

• Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the testing team, encouraging innovation and the adoption of new technologies.

• Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• 13+ years' experience in managing multiple QA teams, handling complex programs like Modernization, Cloud migrations, BAU Projects, managing UAT schedules with business stakeholders, Implementing Quality Improvement opportunities, automation, etc

• Strong experience working in testing and managing varied programs in a Consulting Environment.

• Possess extensive experience in Auto Functional/Regression Testing, Automation, and REST / API Service Testing.

• Demonstrate proficiency in using Test Management Tools to manage and track testing activities.

• Exhibit strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Show a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices in software testing and project management.

• Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Preferred Skills/Qualification:

• Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus.

• Certified Software Test Manager (CSTM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
