About the Team
The e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated.
With more than 1 billion loyal users globally, we believe TikTok is an ideal platform to deliver a brand new and better e-commerce experience to our users. We are looking for passionate and talented people to join our E-commerce operations team in the US, to build an e-commerce ecosystem that is innovative, secure and intuitive for our users together.
We aim to scale our marketing strategy for TikTok Shop for our social media channels, across platforms including TikTok, IG, Linkedin, & YouTube. The role is responsible for scaling and executing our social media strategy for TikTok's e-commerce business in the US, to grow awareness, consideration, and acquisition for TikTok Shop with users.

Responsibilities:
- Own and scale our social media strategy across platforms (TikTok, IG, YouTube, LinkedIn), to reach our target audiences (shoppers, creators, sellers).
- Develop a content calendar - own & optimize our content production budget across production sources (creator briefs, agency shoots, UGC).
- Project manage and execute social content production end-to-end: from briefing, talent sourcing, to creative feedback and launch strategy.
- Synthesize user data & performance insights from our ads and measurement teams to optimize content strategy, through creative testing.
- Grow awareness of TikTok Shop by activating campaigns on social, and developing creative content concepts targeting new sellers, creators, and shoppers.
- Optimize launch strategy across organic, paid, and influencer tactics - in partnership with performance marketing and creator teams.
- Measure the business impact of social campaigns on driving user growth for TikTok Shop, by working in partnership with our data, ads, and product teams.
- Share updates & marketing plans with cross-functional teams and partners to problem solve & align on key messages.
- Ability to communicate cross-functionally across differing levels of management, and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
• 4 years experience of marketing management; a mixed experience across both social media strategy and influencer marketing is a plus.
• Creative thinker - experimenting with new content concepts, formats, and messages is the key to driving high-performing social content.
• Familiar with TikTok and other content platforms; experience in content-based e-commerce is highly preferred.
• Attention to detail, affinity with numbers, logical and strong in problem solving.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Over 1 years of experience with paid media and influencer marketing.
• Strong knowledge and experience with social commerce (shoppable video, LIVE shopping) is a plus.
• Experience working with data science and product teams is a plus.
