Job Description
1. Supports Go-Lives, Updates, Upgrades, Incidents, Downtimes, Pilots, Optimizations, and User Acceptance Testing. Occasionally, required to work outside of standard business hours and days including weekends to support business needs.
2. Assess educational needs of end users through department rounding, provide at the elbow support and just-in-time training, act as a liaison between end users and IT staff using both clinical and technical knowledge to provide resolutions.
3. Assess and document business requirements and processes through interviewing stakeholders, clinical and non-clinical, financial and operational leadership and communicate requirements to technical personnel with technical specifications.
4. Tests and troubleshoots workflows in SUP environment to identify root causes to address end-user challenges
5. Train and/or assist provider and nursing staff to personalize their workspace and promote optimization to increase efficiency in Epic navigation.
6. Provide/ assist in obtaining metrics for key performance indicators to the leadership staff
7. Stay current with quality, regulatory, and practice standards for nursing and other clinical areas as relevant.
8. Acts as Training Coordinator/Final Approver as needed.
9. Provide supervision and direction to junior Training and Development Representatives, consultants, and/or other appropriate team members.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Psychology, Personnel Administration, Business Administration, Management or related discipline; and
  2. One year of experience in employee development and training programs in a health care facility, business, educational, governmental organization or other fields related to training, development and analysis, or training in implementation of operational or management systems; and
  3. Knowledge of the principles of training, psychology of learning, applications and the ability to instruct and motivate; and
  4. Ability to communicate orally and relate to others; and
  5. Proficient writing and research skills; or
  6. A satisfactory combination of education, training and experience indicating the ability to perform satisfactorily.
